Larry Palm for County Board!

I am honored to be elected as your County Board Supervisor for District 12.

As a Madison Alder for 14 years, my commitment has been and continues to be to you – my neighbors and this community that I am proud to call home.

This year has been unprecedented: few could have foreseen what COVID-19 would have brought to our community. Small businesses struggling and closing, families that already are living paycheck to paycheck are stretched thinner, and those who have never had to ask for help are now having to.

As a former Alder, I understand that our decisions aren’t easy. But my experiences, skills and knowledge to work on your behalf, I look forward to finding solutions for all residents of Dane County.

I am optimistic that our community will meet the challenges of today and usher in a better tomorrow. Please join me and support our campaign in this special election. Thank you.

COVID-19 Recovery

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc to our community. We must strengthen Public Health and the Aging and Disability Resource Center to prepare for the lasting health effects, including mental health concerns, that will persist long after this pandemic is controlled.

Enviroment

We must remove PFAS chemicals in the groundwater at the airport to protect water quality.

Dane County must also find long-term solutions to increase in 100-year rain events that cause severe flooding in low-lying areas.

housing

We must do more to make sure the rising costs of living in Dane County do not displace our neighbors.

I’ve supported Occupy Madison as a sustainable community-developed means of creating new housing for our most vulnerable neighbors.
